DENNIS LEE MATTINGLY

Dennis Lee Mattingly has been practicing law since 1984. He has engaged in the general practice of law with special emphasis in real estate, corporate transactions, estate planning/wills and trusts, and business law. In 1998, he formed and became President of Mattingly Ford Title Services, LLC. Dennis is a native of Owensboro and a life-long resident of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. He graduated from Owensboro Catholic High School. He received his undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky University, School of Journalism, with a concentration in advertising, and a minor in business administration. Upon graduating from college, he was awarded a full scholarship to Salmon P. Chase, Northern Kentucky School of Law. Dennis began his career as a lawyer with a general practice law firm in Owensboro, Kentucky with a concentration in real estate and business law. Subsequently, he became a partner with a 25-member law firm in Louisville, Kentucky, with a concentration in real estate transactions, corporate law, employment law and insurance defense/workers’ compensation litigation. He has represented lenders, purchasers and sellers in numerous multi-million dollar commercial transactions and tens of thousands residential real estate transactions. He has litigated complex, multi-layered litigation cases. He has been a frequent speaker on Labor Law Issues at Business Forums. He has defended and advised employers on labor law and discrimination cases. He has represented counties on contractual, bond and county project issues. Dennis is a member of the Kentucky and Indiana Bar, and is admitted to practice before the Kentucky Supreme Court and Federal Court in the Western and Eastern Districts of Kentucky.
Dennis resides in Prospect, Kentucky, with his wife, Leslie, and children, Seth and Olivia. |

RUSSELL D. FORD

Russell D. Ford has been a practicing attorney since 1995 and has developed interests in a variety of different fields of law, including corporate and business development, criminal law, estate and probate work and real estate transactions, both corporate and residential. Russell is a Louisville native, graduating from Eastern High School in Middletown before going on to receive his B.S., in Accounting with honors from the University of Kentucky. Russell made the Dean’s list six of eight semesters at UK. After college, he returned to Louisville to attend the University of Louisville School of Law, graduating in 1995 and making the Dean’s List three semesters. Upon graduation from law school, Russell joined the law firm of Segal and Shanks where he concentrated his efforts in the area of insurance defense and litigation. In 1997, Russell took a position as a real estate attorney with Equity Title of Kentucky, Inc. and turned his efforts toward the practice of real estate law. During his time at Equity, Russell developed a keen understanding of complex title issues and represented lenders, purchasers, sellers, developers and builders in thousands of commercial and residential transactions. Russell joined the law firm of Mattingly-Ford in February of 2001 as an associate attorney. He became partner and principal of Mattingly Ford P.S.C. and Mattingly Ford Title Services, LLC in January of 2003. He continues to concentrate his efforts in the areas of real estate law and business law, including commercial and residential transactions, real estate investor needs, 1031 like-kind exchanges, corporate/LLC development and estate planning.

DAVID SCOTT DUPPS

David Scott Dupps has been practicing law since 1991. He had engaged in the general practice of law with special emphasis in real estate and insurance defense/workers’ compensation litigation.
David graduated from Eastern High School in Pekin, Indiana. David received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University, with a concentration in accounting. Upon graduating from college, David attended law school at University of Louisville School of Law. While in law school, David authored a note entitled Battered Lesbians: Are They Entitled to a Battered Woman Defense? The note was published in the Journal of Family Law. David served as Editor of the Journal of Family Law, his final year in law school. David began his career with a 25-member law firm in Louisville, Kentucky, with an emphasis in real estate and insurance defense/workers’ compensation litigation. David has concentrated his practice on real estate. He has represented lenders, purchasers and sellers in numerous real estate transactions. David is a member of the Kentucky and Indiana Bar Associations, as well as the Louisville Bar Association. David is a closing attorney for Mattingly-Ford Title Services, LLC where he specializes in real estate law and real estate closings.
David resides in Louisville, Kentucky, with his wife, Nancy, and their sons, Jared, Jacob and Andrew. |

ANGELA NEWELL GARDINER

Angela Newell Gardiner has been practicing law since 1993. She has practiced in the areas of estate planning and estate administration, real estate, corporations, commercial transactions and environmental law. A graduate of Oldham County High School, Angela received a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Centre College in 1986. Upon graduation from Centre, Angela worked as a research assistant for a Louisville environmental law firm. Angela completed law school at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law while working full time in the Corporate Legal Department of LG&E Energy Corp. Upon admission to practice, Angela became a Corporate Attorney for LG&E Energy, practicing in the areas of real estate, environmental, corporate, commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions. Upon entering private practice in 2000, Angela expanded her areas of practice to include estate planning and estate administration/probate matters. Angela joined Mattingly-Ford Title Services in 2007 and is managing the firm’s estate planning and estate administration. In addition, Angela practices in the areas of residential and commercial real estate, corporations and commercial transactions.
Angela resides in Louisville, Kentucky, with her husband, Bill, and their two children, Sarah and Liam. |
